2010 EYBIS.com Race Pilots

   Northern Ireland - Eugene Laverty

World SUPERSPORT 2010 - PARKALGAR Honda Team

After having been 3rd in the British Supersport Championship of 2006, Eugene moved for 2 seasons - 2007 and 2008 - into the World Championship 250.

In 2009, he becomes - in his first World Supersport season - Vice World Champion, with 4 impressive wins behind his name.

With a dominant victory @ the last race of 2009 @ Portimao, (Portugal) and an impressive win again in the first race of 2010 @ Philip Island (Austrialia), Eugene is more than ever ready to go for the World Supersport title 2010.

2010 is also the first season during which Eugene will ride with the "www.EYBIS.com" visor sticker on his helmet.

After having taken in 2009 the European title Superstock 600 with Gino Rea, and the World Superstock 1000 title with Xavier Siméon, it is the aim of EYBIS to take the World Supersport 2010 title with the sympathic and very fast Eugene Laverty.

   France - F. FORAY

World ENDURANCE - 2010

French SBK Championship

In 2006 and 2007, Freddy Foray got 4 times on the podium in the French Championship Stocksport (2006) and Superbike (2007).

In 2006, 2007 and 2008, he won for 3 consecutive times the Bol d'Or in the Superstock category.

In 2007, he also won the 24hr of Le Mans.

In 2008, he completed a season of the FIM Cup Superstock 1000 with the Coutelle Junior Team of Stéphane Coutelle.

His best performance of the season was a 2° place, behind the Czech EYBIS pilot Matej Smrz, at Magny-Cours (Octobre 2008). Freddy finally became 8° in the final standings.

Due to the age limit of 24 years in this class, Freddy Foray returned for the 2009 season to the French Superbike Championship, where he raced on an official Suzuki GSX-R 1000 k9 of Suzuki France. He became 3rd in the Championship.

For the prestigious Bol d'Or 2009, Freddy got the opportunity to replace Barry Veneman on the n° 1 SERT bike. They won this prestigious 24h race.

For the 2010 season, Freddy is - besides Guillaume Dietrich and Vincent Philippe -  one of the official SUZUKI Endurance Racing Team (SERT) riders, with as only target taking the World Title Endurance.
Beside this ambitious program, Freddy goes also for the French Superbike title, on an official GSX-R 1000 from SUZUKI France.

   Czech Republic - Matej SMRZ

IDM SUPERBIKE - 2010 - INGHART Racing

Matej Smrz became in 2001, besides his participation in the European 125 cc, Czech champion 125 cc.

In 2003, he passed on to the STK 1000, where he had a terrible crash a year later. He won the struggle for his life, but could not race anymore until the end of 2005.

At the end of 2005, he had his first race in the STK 600 since his crash, and won it.

From 2006, he entered the STK 1000 again, where he raced since 2007 with "www.EYBIS.com" on his visor.

Matej and his brother Jakub Smrz (World SBK) are the most famous racers of the Czech Republic. Matej is very praised fo his great fighting spirit during the races, which is a delight to watch. After a first podium in 2007, he found his way to the podium several times in 2008, with a win at Magny-Cours.

2009 became a strange year. On one hand, a bad overall package couldn't bring Matej good results during his World Supersport season. But on the other hand, his wild card in IDM SBK @ Assen, that same year, meant a turning point in his career: in his first race ever in IDM SBK, Matej won the race. Nobody in the histsory of IDM had ever done this!

From that moment on, many IDM SBK teams were hunting for Matejs services for the 2010 season. Finally INGHART Racing was the one that could sign "Smrzino". Both have only one goal for 2010: taking the IDM SBK title!

Matejs adventures can be followed on his blog.

   Czech Republic - Ondrej Jezek

FIM SUPERSTOCK 1000 - 2010 - Aprilia RSV4

Begin 2009, Ondrej signed to the Czech team MS Racing for the FIM Cup Superstock 1000.
After 5 years on Kawasaki ZX-6R, he switched this way to Honda  CBR 1000 RR.

He finished 7th in the first race in Valencia. Since the 2nd race of the 2009 season - at Assen - Ondrej Jezek is racing with the EYBIS.com logo on his ARAI helmet.

We think that - behind Matej Smrz who was the 1st Czech rider to win a World Championship race (STK @ Magny-Cours in 2008) - Ondrej could well become the 2nd Czech winner.

We think that this could well happen this year, in Ondras second World Superstock 1000 season, maybe in Brno where he finished 3rd in 2009...

Further, we consider Ondra as a FIM Cup STK title contender the first 2 coming years., and a for sure multiple podium pilot.
