We then ride back into Belgium, passing Vresse-sur-Semois, among others, before riding up and taking a second break at La Cabane at Bouillon Castle.
Among other things, we can enjoy the beautiful view of both the castle and the Semois river and the town of Bouillon.

Then it is 33 km to our lunch stop in the village of Sainte Cécile.
On the way there, we still pass the famous Herbeumont Bridge.
We crossed no less than 3 natural parks this morning, namely ‘Parc naturel Viroin Hermeton’, ‘Parc naturel régional des Ardennes’ and ‘Parc naturel de l'Ardenne méridionale’.
Bridge of Herbeumont
After our lunch, many beautiful roads await us.
We first drive via ‘Parc naturel Haute-Sûre Forêt d'Anlier’ to Luxembourg.
Parc naturel de la Haute-Sûre
After driving into Luxembourg, we set course on beautiful, billiard-paved roads to the Lac de la Haute Sûre, where a little later we cross the ‘Barrage d'Esch-sur-Sûre’.
Left: dam Esch-sur-Sûre
A few kilometres later, we end up in Esch-sur-Sûre.
This is called the most beautiful village in Luxembourg by many.
Esch-sur-Sûre
We then drive a circle around (the remains of) ‘Château d'Esch-sur-Sûre’.

Some 30 kilometres later, we arrive at Luxembourg's next gem: Clervaux.
Château de Clervaux
We drive to ‘Château de Clervaux’ and stop for an hour to visit the fantastic ‘Museum of the Battle of the Bulge’.
In the winter of 1944/1945, the Third Reich launched its final offensive against the Allies in the Ardennes, marking the beginning of the Battle of the Bulge (in English, ‘Battle of the Bulge’). On 16 December 1944, German troops commanded by General Von Rundstedt attacked the weakly defended American positions along the Sauer and Our rivers. Most of the Ösling was evacuated, but there were still many casualties among the civilian population. In response, General Patton moved his Third Army from the Saar to Luxembourg. In intense fighting, he recaptured the northern sector.
The Museum of the Battle of the Bulge recalls this dark but decisive period in the last century. The Battle of the Bulge lasted almost two months and was one of the biggest and most chaotic battles of World War II. The battle definitively drove the German occupiers out of Luxembourg.
Those not interested in culture and/or history can go for a drink nearby.
After this stop, we start the last hour's ride of the day.
Before crossing the border between Luxembourg and Germany, we drive past the magnificent Vianden Castle.
Castel of Vianden
No stop is planned here, but castle lovers can of course do this on their own initiative, as it is truly a beautiful heirloom.
From here to Hotel Eden au Lac, where we spend the night, only 30 km remain.
After an invigorating showere, we will round off this beautiful day with a cosy apero, followed by a delicious meal together.
After a nice breakfast, we start our road tour.
After 85 km, we stop 45' at Le Mouton Noir in Martelange, for a coffee or other drink.
Around 10:30 we start our cars back for the next 82 km to Brasserie de Rochehaut where we have lunch together over the brewery.
After lunch, we continue our return towards Flanders, but not without planning 2 more nice stops, each of which we reach via scenic roads.
We will start with a dynamic 76 km drive to Chimay, Belgium, where we will stop for a coffee break at a nice location.
The last 57 km take us from Chimay in Belgium to Valenciennes in northern France, also known as the Athens of the North.
Once parked, we end the weekend with a drink and a bite in Valenciennes.
The participation fee per sports car (i.e. your own sports car) with driver (i.e. you) is 995 € including VAT, based on double occupancy.
If you wish to participate alone, as well as occupy a room on your own, this is possible for 600 € more.
For an additional 300 €, you can select the ‘co-driver’ option during your registration, and thus take part as a couple instead of alone.
If you choose the ‘co-driver’ option, you can choose between a room with a large double bed or two single beds when booking.
Apart from your petrol, this includes everything.
