Corona - Specific measures

Germany has now become a green zone.

The following corona measures from our previous event at the HOCKENHEIMRING have now been relaxed:

I.e.:

You do not have to present - at the entrance of the circuit - a negative test

This does not exclude the possibility that - if you live in a country or zone where Germany imposes certain obligations (e.g. being able to present a negative test) - you must be able to present this at the border with Germany (currently, for example, this would be the case may be for residents of the Netherlands (which is now considered a "high risk area" by Germany ... check this if you live in the Netherlands!)

You can stay overnight in the paddock
Showers and toilets are open
Accompanions are allowed

However, the hygiene and distance measures remain valid.

Mandatory wearing of a medical mouth/nose covering indoors and outdoors.
In outdoor areas the mouth/nose covering can be removed, if the applicable minimum distance is maintained.

Timekeeping: every half day, the groups will be optimized based on the lap times

We have a service to check your tire pressure, and put it on the correct pressure if necessary
There is no tyre sales on site

Technical service

We have a limited technical service on site
Changing brake pads on your car is for example no problem at all (if you brought them with you)
We have no sales of brake pads or other technical parts

Noise limit

NOISE LIMIT

The maximum sound that your car can produce while driving on the circuit (= under "dynamic conditions") is 98 dB.

Any street-legal sports car meets this limit.

Technical control

Before you enter the track, it is checked whether you have mounted your towing eye at the front (or possibly at the rear).

Pitbox

PIT BOX

There are 45 large pitboxes (17.40 x 3.80 m), each with a toilet, electricity and water

Price for a complete box for 2 days = 350 € + 50 € caution
If you leave your - cleaned - box already after 1 day, and you bring the key back, 175 € + 50 € caution will be paid back to you

Payment: on the spot in appropriate cash

Electricity

In the paddock and in the boxes conventional as well as 3-pole (blue) EURO “Camping”-plugs can be used (= of the type “16 AMP two-pole”).

In the paddock, there are buildings with showers.

Toilets

There is a toilet in each pitbox.

There are also toilets in the paddock, in the buildings with the showers.

Forbidden

It is forbidden to leave your worn tyres in the paddock
Drilling or making holes in the ground is prohibited (for example, to secure your tent)
No smoking in the boxes, the pitlane and along the circuit
Children are not permitted to walk around the pitlane without being accompanied
It is forbidden to bring animals to the entire race track area
It is forbidden to make “Burnouts” under penalty of a fine of € 1.000 (imposed by the race track)

TPL insurance included

With WHEELTORQUE, the Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance is included in your enrolment price since years;
Some circuits require a license. The only reason for this is that there is a TPL insurance included in it;
Because we provide for all participants - included in the price - such a TPL insurance, a license is not requested during our events and yet you are fully okay;
