This legendary circuit has a history that goes back a long way: it was built in 1932 and 45,000 (!) spectators attended the opening race in May 1932. Now - more than 90 years later - it has been changed, evolved, rebuilt and improved several times and is now 4,574 m long.

1996 - Damon Hill wins in Hockenheim

The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Germany was organised there dozens of times between 1970 and 2019. The most successful F1 teams there were Ferrari and Williams. Ferrari won the F1 Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring no fewer than 21 times, Williams won 9 times. Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton won 4 times each. No pilot ever did better. Other winners were Nico Rosberg (2014), Fernando Alonso (2012), Juan Pablo Montoya (2003), Ralf Schumacher (2001), Rubens Barrichello (2000), Eddie Irvine (1999), Mika Häkkinen (1998), Gerhard Berger (1997, 1994), Damon Hill (1996), Alain Prost (1993, 1984), Nigel Mansell (1992, 1991), Ayrton Senna (1990, 1989, 1988), Nelson Piquet (1987, 1986, 1981), René Arnoux (1983) ), Patrick Tambay (1982), Jacques Laffite (1980), Alan Jones (1979), Mario Andretti (1978), Niki Lauda (1977) and Jochen Rindt (1970). The last winner was Max Verstappen in 2019.

2019 - Max Verstappen wins in Hockenheim

Being able to rent this circuit, and even on a Sunday, is unique and is something that very few organisations can realise. Through our experience in organising circuit events for motorcyclists, we have built a relationship with the management of the Hockenheimring for 15 years, which allows us to achieve something like this and ultimately offer it to you.

All levels welcome

During your online registration for this event you can choose between 3 groups (= 3 levels) for the driving on the circuit on Sunday afternoon:

• GTA
• Lots of track experience | Fast
• GTB
• A little bit of track experience | No track experience

We can change groups on site at any time if it turns out that the group you have chosen is no longer the correct one.

We will do timekeeping in order to permanently optimise the groups (read: keep the speed differences within the same group as small as possible) based on lap times driven. Measuring = Knowing ;-)

It is absolutely no problem if you have never driven on a circuit before. On the contrary: it will make the experience all the more unforgettable for you!

Exclusive CAR Parking

Motorcycles ride on the circuit on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. This is also organised by us (see www.EYBIS.com).

When we arrive at the circuit, the motorcyclists will still be present, but there will be an exclusive CAR parking for us.

The riding sessions for the motorcycles end at 1 p.m., and from then on only CARS will drive on track until 6 p.m.

After the mandatory safety briefing, we 'll drive on track from 2 until 6 PM.

Total Beginner?

For those who have never driven on a circuit, there is a second briefing.

The following will be covered during this instruction briefing:

• sitting position
• hands position @ handlebar
• viewing technique
• what is an apex?
• how to cut corners?
• slow in, fast out
• etc.

This briefing is done in Dutch, French, English and German.

Anyone who wishes can then drive the first session behind one of the leading ALPINE's, which shows the ideal line on the circuit.

Noise (dbA) limit

Please be aware that the maximum noise that your car may produce, while driving on track (= under "dynamic conditions"), is 100 dbA.

You can only pay with credit card.

• If you book for the Car Track Day, your lunch (+ 2 non-alcoholic drinks) is included
• If you have a passenger, you can opt for a second lunch when you book online

• It is forbidden to leave worn tyres in the paddock
• Drilling or making holes in the ground is prohibited (for example, to secure your tent)
• No smoking in the boxes, the pitlane and along the circuit
• Children are not permitted to walk around the pitlane without being accompanied
• It is forbidden to bring animals to the entire race track area
• It is forbidden to make “Burnouts” under penalty of a fine of € 1.000 (imposed by the race track)
