The EUROPEAN ALPINE DRIVE OUT 2024 is an international multi-day event for ALPINE owners and their partners, combining road tour driving and GP circuit driving, as well as international networking during apero and delicious meals in unique settings.

There is no competition associated with this event. Experiencing beautiful moments together among like-minded people - passionate ALPINE enthusiasts - is central.

This TOP event will take place on Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday 16-17-18-19 May 2024.

We will meet on Thursday afternoon, May 16, 2024 between 2 and 6 p.m. @ the beautiful DOMAINE DE RONCHINNE, near Namur in Belgium.

Website Domaine de Ronchinne

Three nights, three days, and many kilometers and beautiful moments later, on  Sunday May 19, 2024 at 6 p.m. we will finish at the HOCKENHEIMRING, and we will close this event together during an informal reception with bubbles.

Optionally, you can choose to spend the night nearby after the event and drive home the next day. We will then have an aperitif and dinner together. The next day is Pentecost Monday, so no work needs to be done. Ideal for a relaxing drive home.

Click on the red buttons below to see photos and videos from the previous editions.
For this edition we will not reveal all the details of the program online in advance. If you have an ALPINE and have not participated before, you can see what you can expect via the images of the 3 previous editions (see above). Below we briefly outline the program and timing of this annual fantastic international event.

One month before the start of the event, you - as a participant - will receive a postal package with the Guide Book (= printed supplement to the digital Road Book), all stickers for your ALPINE, a squeegee to apply the stickers, a personalized badge per person, and 2 - signed by the artist, limited - official posters of the event (one in A2 and one in A3 format) in high quality. Ideal for your garage, man cave or office.

Around that period, all registered teams (= drivers and co-drivers) will receive an information email with the link to the digital Road Books, the invitation link to 2 Telegram groups in which we will communicate later, and a lot of other practical information, to enjoy the upcoming event to the maximum.

During the event, a briefing about the next day is given every evening.

Day 2 - Road Tour - 328 km

We start the day with a delicious, extensive breakfast in our hotel.

Our cars have been waiting all night, to be loaded back in the morning and then finally leave.

We start this edition 2 hours earlier than last year, and we have 25 km less to drive.

Plenty of time to relax and enjoy yourself, without having to push to get to the hotel on time.

After an hour and a half of driving, we stop in France for a first break of 45'. Time for coffee or another drink.

Then we have 120 km of very beautiful route before we reach our lunch stop in Luxembourg.

After a refreshing meal and great conversations, we leave for an even more beautiful route - lasting about an hour - through Luxembourg, until we reach our next break in Diekirch, where we stop again 45' for a drink and a nice chat.

We then still have an hour ahead of us to reach Trier, Germany, where our second overnight stay is also located.

Day 3 - Road Tour - 283 km

Today many of us will probably discover for the first time what beautiful routes Germany has to offer.

After our morning break, we arrive in beautiful Cochem in the afternoon, where we will have lunch in an original way.

We end our day a few hours (and) beautiful routes later in the famous German city of Kaiserslautern, where the Stiftsplatz has been reserved for our cars (see below).

Day 4 - Driving on Track

We start the day - after our breakfast - at 8:15 a.m. with an exciting route of 95 km that mainly runs through the beautiful, very winding Pfälzerwald.

We arrive in Hockenheim around 9:45 a.m. ... after 3 already unforgettable days, it is now time for the icing on the cake: circuit driving on the legendary Hockenheimring!

This legendary circuit has a history that goes back a long way: it was built in 1932 and 45,000 (!) spectators attended the opening race in May 1932. Now - more than 90 years later - it has been changed, evolved, rebuilt and improved several times and is now 4,574 m long.

1996 - Damon Hill wins in Hockenheim

The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Germany was organised there dozens of times between 1970 and 2019. The most successful F1 teams there were Ferrari and Williams. Ferrari won the F1 Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring no fewer than 21 times, Williams won 9 times. Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton won 4 times each. No pilot ever did better. Other winners were Nico Rosberg (2014), Fernando Alonso (2012), Juan Pablo Montoya (2003), Ralf Schumacher (2001), Rubens Barrichello (2000), Eddie Irvine (1999), Mika Häkkinen (1998), Gerhard Berger (1997, 1994), Damon Hill (1996), Alain Prost (1993, 1984), Nigel Mansell (1992, 1991), Ayrton Senna (1990, 1989, 1988), Nelson Piquet (1987, 1986, 1981), René Arnoux (1983) ), Patrick Tambay (1982), Jacques Laffite (1980), Alan Jones (1979), Mario Andretti (1978), Niki Lauda (1977) and Jochen Rindt (1970). The last winner was Max Verstappen in 2019.

2019 - Max Verstappen wins in Hockenheim

Being able to rent this circuit, and even on a Sunday, is unique and is something that very few organisations can realise. Through our experience in organising circuit events for motorcyclists, we have built a relationship with the management of the Hockenheimring for 15 years, which allows us to achieve something like this and ultimately offer it to you.

All levels welcome

During your online registration for this event you can choose between 3 groups (= 3 levels) for the driving on the circuit on Sunday afternoon:

  • GTA
    • Track experience | Fast
  • GTB
    • A little bit or no track experience | Sporty

We can change groups on site at any time if it turns out that the group you have chosen is no longer the correct one.

If it is possible in terms of the number of cars, we may switch to 2 groups (= 2 levels) after the bookings have closed, so that there is even more driving time per group.

We will do timekeeping in order to permanently optimise the groups (read: keep the speed differences within the same group as small as possible) based on lap times driven. Measuring = Knowing ;-)

It is absolutely no problem if you have never driven on a circuit before. On the contrary: it will make the experience all the more unforgettable for you!

Exclusive ALPINE Parking

Motorcycles ride on the circuit on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. This is also organised by us (see

When we arrive at the circuit, the motorcyclists will still be present, but there will be an exclusive ALPINE parking for our cars.

The riding sessions for the motorcycles end at 1 p.m., and from then on only ALPINE's will drive on track until 6 p.m.

Driving on the Circuit

Total Beginner?

For those who have never driven on a circuit, there is a second briefing.

The following will be covered during this instruction briefing:

  • sitting position
  • hands position @ handlebar
  • viewing technique
  • what is an apex?
  • how to cut corners?
  • slow in, fast out
  • etc.

Anyone who wishes can then drive the first session behind one of the leading ALPINE's, which shows the ideal line on the circuit.

Parade - Photo Shoot

Immediately after lunch, and before starting the driving sessions, there is a parade with all our ALPINE's on the circuit + a photo shoot.

Day 5 - Return Trip

The day after our event is Pentecost Monday. Ideal to make it a great evening together on Sunday evening (with another aperitif and dinner) and only return home on Monday morning after breakfast.
During your registration you can optionally choose a nice overnight stay about a fifteen-minute drive from the Hockenheimring.
In any case, this is what we are going to do, and everyone is welcome.
The ALPINE DRIVE OUT 2022 is exclusively reserved for all models of the ALPINE brand:
A106 - A108 - A110 (old and new model) - A310 - A610 - GTA.
The event is organised - completely independently of, and without the support of, ALPINE - by WHEELTORQUE who is the creator and owner of the event. The founder and owner of this premium event organisation in the automotive sector is a passionate ALPINE owner himself, and also participates in the event with his - in the meantime second - ALPINE.
